All Inn 009: Summed & Dot - Arlem EP (Tobias remixével)

A palermói páros új EP-jével ismét sikerült magára vonnia a figyelmet az All Inn Recordsnak. Summed & Dot második visszatérése parádésra sikerült: az új zenék még izgalmasabbak, mint az előző két All Innes megjelenésüknél. A két olasz újabb bizonyítékát rakta le annak, hogy  a tehetségük stílusoktól független tényező.

Kimondottam érzelmes lüktetésű a címadó zene: az Arlem. Lassan hömpölygő tört ütemei alaposan megdolgozzák a hallgató lelkét. Az eredeti alapot lecserélve egy totálisan új arculatot adott a felvételnek a remixer, Tobias. Az All Inn kiadónál ezzel a feszes, vibráló darabbal mutatkozik be a Wagon Repair, a Perlon, a Ostgut Ton és az NSP labelek hangmérnöki végzettségű művésze. A remixet egyébként John Digweed is pörgette a híres Transitions show-jában. Digger nem spórolt az elismerő szavakkal sem.

Az Eyewitness egy újabb szeletet mutat be a Summed & Dot-féle muzikalitásból, egy olyan részletet, mely magával ragad ugyan, de inkább éjszakai kocsikázásnál, nem táncparketten. A digitális formátumú EP-n egy exkluzív track is hallható: a Weedairben felcsendülő (talán Roland TB-303) dobgép szívmelengető retró-érzést kelt, amit a kellemesen elernyedő törtek fokoznak tovább.
