Minden világsztár topdj sikerének titka a zene iránti kimondhatatlan szeretetében rejlik. Markus Schulz sem kivétel ez alól, akit ma már világ egyik legjobb djeként tart számon az emberiség, olyan nevek mellett Tiesto, Armin van Buuren vagy éppen Paul van Dyk. 2008-ban a DJ MAG közönségszavazatos listája alapján a kiemelkedõ 8-ik helyezést érte el, de szinte biztos, hogy a hatalmas rajongótábora 2009-ben sokkal elõrébb szavazza az amerikai mûvészt ezen a neves listán. Markus Schulz a világ egyik legjobb és legnagyobb energiával bíró dj-producere és neve hallatán nincs olyan zeneszeretõ, akit ne töltene el boldogság és izgalommal teli várakozás. Markus fõ célja mindig is az volt, hogy a világot körbe utazva mutathassa meg emberek százezreinek egyedi elképzelését a zenérõl és progressive melodikus trance hangzásvilágát Ázsiától Amerikáig.
Markus nem hagyta minõségi zene nélkül azokat a rajongókat sem akik éppen nem hallhatják õt élõben, hisz GLOBAL DJ BROADCAST nevû heti rádió mûsorán keresztül is százezreket ér el, több mint 30 országban már évek óta. Ibiza Summer Sessions nevû mûsorával pedig azokat is az ibizai varázslatba tudta repíteni a legforróbb zenéket válogatva, akiknek nem volt alkalmuk a szigetre látogatni.
Saját kiadója a Coldharbour Recordings 3 éven belül több, mint 60 A-list track-et adott ki. A minõség mindig nagyon fontos számára, ezért csak olyan zenéket, remixeket ad ki a kezébõl, úamirõl tudja, hogy az Õ precizitását tükrözni. Sláger slágerre halmoz, csak egy párat említve "Without You Near", "Daydream", "Perfect" és a legutóbbiak a "The New World" és a "Power of American Natives".
A nagysikerû Miami 05, Ibiza 06, Amsterdam 08 város ihlette sorozat folytatódik sokak örömére, ebben az évben a kanadai metropolis történetével Toronto 09 névvel. Ezek a kiadványok lehetõséget adnak Markusnak, hogy kifejésre jutassa azokat az érzéseket, amik összegyülemlenek benne utazásai során és azokat az energiákat, amit közönségétõl kap partijai során.
Az amerika trance nagyágyú rendíthetetlen célja, hogy új hangzást és élményeket osszon meg minél nagyobb tömegekkel. A világsztár ibizai Amnesia rezidenciája mellett a legnagyobb fesztiválok "headliner"-e.

This year has seen Markus cross the globe on an almost constant basis. From Australia to Russia and as far away as China and Trinidad. Along with playing his hometown of Miami. Markus was also found in Ibiza at his summer residency at Amnesia; The Two Tribes Tour in Australia and New Zealand; Tomorrowland in Belgium; Mysterland and Trance Energy in The Netherlands; Nature One in Germany; Distant Heat in Jordan as well as clubs and in Kuala Lumpur, Romania, Czech Republic, Mexico, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Slovakia, UK, Boston, Los Angeles, New York and the list goes on.
Global DJ Broadcast, Markus weekly radio show, can now be heard on over 30 stations worldwide. His very special Ibiza Summer Sessions debuted this summer. Wanting to give the listener the feeling of being part of the Ibiza summer, Markus planned each week with the best guest djs and hottest music from the Balearic Islands. The mission was to bring Ibiza to those who couldnt be there and add to the experience of those who were. And it worked. New stations the world over grabbed up the show for their audiences. Markus reached out through the airwaves to meet more people and touch their lives.
Not only has Markus been winning the world over with his radio show, but he released his newest mix cd Ibiza 06 this year. Markus realized the sound of summer in Ibiza is a very special and has a unique feeling and he meant to capture this with his cd. I wanted to give the listener the feeling like they were there and the cd was the soundtrack to their time on the island Markus explains. I know how special a place it is for me, so many spectacular memories and I really wanted to capture that emotion.
With no plans for slowing down anytime soon, Markus just might meet the world after all.
