Sziasztok, Julia Carpenter vagyok.
A zenei karrierem sokakkal ellentétben nem gyerekként kezdődött, mivel 15 évig profi teniszező voltam.
Természetesen a zene életem része volt, de csak a sport befejezéseután, 2005-ben tudtam elindulni ezen a pályán, egy akkor elinduló dj sulival.
Az iskolasi keres, májusi befejezése után lehetőséget kaptam a keszthelyi Vivierán hogy bontogassam szárnyaim...a nyár után 2005 szeptemberében a téliszezont a budapesti Moulin Rouge-ban jatszottam végig rezidensként Lacoraval és Mr.Kauferrel. 2005 majusában a Buddha Beach rezidenseként folytathattam a karrierem.Sajnos a szezon közepén rajtam kivülálló okok miatt abbahagytam a diszkózást.
A visszatérés a lemezjátszók mögé egészen 2009 márciusáig váratott magára, mikor a "we the music " partysorozattal visszakerültem a körforgásba ahol Lacoraval játszottunk. A "We the music" 3 sikeres állomása után lehetőséget kaptam a Sundancepark csütörtöki és szombati rezidenciájára Lacora-val, ami egészen szeptemberig tartott. A nyár folyamán játszottam még két sikeres niterise partyn a balatonfüredi aquaparkban.
A 2009-es téli szezon budapest új klubbjában a myclub-ban kezdödött ahol szintén rezidensként állhattam a lemezjátszók mögé. Azért, hogy nehogy azt mondjátok, hogy unalmas a karrierem, ezért elmondhatom a 2010-es évet már budapest top klubbjában a PLAY-ben folytattam méltán neves dj kollegáimmal Lacora-val, Mr.Kaufer-rel és számtalan külföldi sztár dj-vel.
2010 nyarán Európa No.1 szabadtéri szórakozóhelyén a budapesti RIO-ban találhattok meg minden pénteken, szombaton pedig a Balaton legjobb szórakoztató komplexumának a Sundancepark-nak vagyokvezetődj-e!Karrierem során olyan neves külföldi sztár dj-kel léptem fel mint Fedde Le Grand, Axwell, John Dahlback, Laidback Luke, Funkerman, Syke N’ Sugarstarr, Funkagenda, stb…
I was born on the 30th of November, 1983 in the city of Siófok, Hungary.
Starting from 1989 onwards, I was obsessed and fully dedicated to become a professional tennis player with the full support of my family. Next to a rigorous tennis schedule I also managed to finish school with good results.
In the year of 2000, I made a tough decision and moved to Budapest by myself to pursue my tennis career further. I was excelling in the game at the time, and the opportunities for my future were much greater in the capital city.
I graduated as a private student from high school in 2002, since there was no other way next to my heavy tennis schedule. By 2003 I was competing abroad as a well-ranked tennis player in both the singles and doubles tournaments.
The year 2004 came with some unfortunate personal problems for me, which led me to leave the world of professional tennis. After the world of professional tennis, music became the most important factor in my life. As my interest towards DJing strengthened, I dove deeper into Budapest nightlife, getting to know several popular local artists and their material. My long time love of House music grew greater every week. It wasn’t long before I became acquainted with Hamvai P.G., and went to every party and gig that he played at. As P.G. got to know my character and temperament better, he saw some potential in me, and this was what made me choose the path I’m on today.
May 9th 2005 was the date when I started the MIXDOWN DJ School, and this is most often the date I consider to have started my professional career path as a DJ. During my studies I became great friends with Hamvai P.G., Lacora, and Magonyi L., who at the same time were my teachers and later became my mentors. After successfully completing the course, i immediately got the chance to prove myself at Keszthely's Viviera Beach.
In July 2005 I became the resident DJ at VIVIERA BEACH, performing under the name DJULIES, every single night.
In September 2005 I also played at several International Business School events and private parties in Budapest.
During 2006 I mostly toured the country, and played regularly at some Budapest hotspots like Moulin Rouge, alongside Mr. Kaufer every Friday. Thanks to MIXDOWN I also got to play once a month at B7, a popular club in downtown Budapest.
In 2007, for reasons out of my control I had to stop performing, only to return in the March of 2009 as JULIA CARPENTER! I wasted no time and got back behind the turntables at the WE THE MUSIC party series, and by the third successful gig I became a resident DJ at SUNDANCEPARK, also playing at the very popular NITERISE parties.
In the Winter of 2009, I performed every Saturday at MYCLUB.
January of 2010 was when I started spinning as the resident DJ of Hungary's No.1 most popular venue, CLUB PLAY, where I played alongside world renowned Dj's such as Funkagenda, Syke n' Sugartar, and Muzzaik.
The summer of 2010 represented another breakthrough, when i continued on as the resident DJ at the ever-popular Cafe del RIO, Hungary's biggest open air nightspot every Friday. I performed next to some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Laidback Luke, Fedde le Grand, Axwell, Funkerman, Bingo Players, John Dahlback, and more...
Next to this I was also the resident DJ at Club Lipstick on saturdays, at Balatonfured's Sundancepark, the most popular summer spot of Hungary's Lake Balaton.
