Voksán Virág 2006-ban kezdte DJ pályafutását egy szakember, DJ Anton szárnyai alatt, aki bár sok szakmai alapfogást megtanított a Playmate-ből frissen avanzsált DJ-nek, mégis rengeteg gyakorlás és több helyről ellesett taktikák kellettek ahhoz, hogy profi lemezlovasként tudjon dolgozni. A zene már egészen kisgyermekkora óta életének központi része amellett, hogy a tanulásra is rengeteg energiát fordított, hiszen érettségijét Kaliforniában szerezte meg, majd a Nemzetközi Üzleti Főiskolán marketingkommunikáció szakon kitűnő minősítéssel diplomázott angol nyelven, eközben pedig üzleti felsőfokú angol és középfokú német szakmai nyelvvizsgát is szerzett.

A zene iránti tudásvágya és szenvedélye nem csillapodott: mindig tudta, hogy zenéléssel szeretne foglalkozni, így a modellkedés és a Playboy-címlapok csak ugródeszkát jelentettek zenei karrierjéhez. 2008-ban, második Playboy-címlapját követően maga Hugh Hefner hívta meg születésnapi bulijára Las Vegasba, a Playboy Clubba.

Azonban Virág mindíg is nagyobb hangsúlyt fektetett a zenére és a mixeléssel kapcsolatos technikai tanulásra, annak ellenére hogy dj „magán tanára” egy bizonyos szintig felkészítette technikailag, ő ezzel nem elégedett meg. Kitűnő pontszámokkal zárta az EFHA által indított Pro DJ tanfolyamot, minek záró vizsgája után hivatalos OKJ-s vizsgát tett le a szakmából! Ez a vizsga az egész Európai Unióban hivatalosan elfogadott és elismert.

Az utóbbi években több mint 400 bulin zenélt - a magyar közönség imádja a DJ-szettjeit, így nem is meglepő, hogy hazánk legszínvonalasabb és legismertebb klubjai kérték fel rezidensnek: 2007-2008-ban a siófoki Palace Dance Clubban, 2008-2009-ben a Bed Beachen és a White Angelben, míg 2009 nyarán Balatonfüreden, a Sundance Parkban található Lipstickben töltötte be a rezidens szerepét. Azon a nyáron a Rise FM partiján az Annagora Aquaparkban több mint 10 000 ember előtt lépett fel Chicane-nel egy színpadon. 2010 első felében a Club Montecristóban rendezett hivatalos Playboy partikon, Genfben (Svájc) kérték fel rezidens DJ-nek, 2010 nyarán pedig a Flörtben tölthette be ezt a megtisztelő szerepet.

A külföldi klubokban való fellépés ekkor már egyáltalán nem volt újdonság DJ Flower számára. A magyar sikerek közepette folyamatosan érkeztek a felkérések nemzetközi hírű szórakozóhelyektől is; nemcsak meghívás, sokszor visszahívás formájában, hiszen bárhol lépett is fel, a hatalmas sikert követően rövidesen jött az újabb felkérés. Portugália-szerte turnézott, ahol rengeteg tévés megjelenése is volt, az újságok pedig előszeretettel írtak DJ Flower fellépéseiről, óriási sikert aratott minden alkalommal. 2009. december 31-én szilveszter éjszakáján pedig több mint 5000 emberből álló közönség előtt lépett fel Madeira szigetén, a hivatalos újévi partin.

Voksán Virág az elmúlt években számos további országot hódított meg DJ-szettjeivel: Luxemburgban a VIP ROOM, a németországi Stuttgartban a Club Aer, míg Münchenben a Club P1 rendszeres fellépője. Egyiptomban a kairói Buddha Barba, míg Abu Dhabiban a Plastik Beach-re, Dubai első számú klubjába a The 400 nevet viselő szuperklubba és a hivatalos Cavalli klubba, valamint Azerbajdzsánban több bakui klubba is visszavárják Virágot, hogy megismételje hatalmas sikerét. Bátran kijelenthetjük, hogy a világ minden táján sikeres, már az oroszokat is elvarázsolta, és nemcsak a volgográdi Club Amsterdam, de a világhírű moszkvai PACHA közönsége is önfeledten tombol DJ Flower bulijain!

2010 végén Torino legjobb klubjában, a Millionaire-ben találkozhatott vele az olasz közönség, valamint Luxemburgban, az évente megrendezett LUXEXPO kiállításon is őt választották hivatalos fellépőnek.

Az olaszországi Lignanóban a 2010-es City Sound Fest elnevezésű rendezvényen Adam Beyerrel zenélt együtt, de nem ő az egyetlen: Sandy Rivera, Eddie Thoneick, Popof, Chicane, Nadia Ali és INNA csak néhány név azok közül, akikkel DJ Flower eddig együtt dolgozott.

2008-ban Virág volt az AXE turné arca és hivatalos DJ-je, így egy hat országból álló nemzetközi turnésorozat során hazánk klubjai mellett bejárta Horvátországot, Csehországot, Szlovákiát, Szlovéniát és Bosznia-Hercegovinát, miközben Markanera, DJ Smiths és Nita társaságában az „Instinct” című dalt készítették közösen, melyből videoklip is készült:

2011-ben egy teljesen új együttműködés révén a világhírű dj, Axwell énekesével: Max C-vel (Axwell-I found you) megszületik az „Are you ready”(magyarul „Készen állsz?”). A dalhoz készült klipp már csak az érdekes sztori vonulat miatt is figyelem felkeltő.

Virág Voksán’s DJ career sprouted up in 2006 when musician DJ Anton took her under his wings, showing the Playmate turned DJ all the tricks of the disc jockey trade. But it needed a lot of hard work and practice for Virág to become the professional full-time DJ she is today. Music has been a natural part of her life from a very young age, though she also devoted a lot of her time to studying: she graduated from Folsom High School in California and went on to study at the International Business School, where she earned her Oxford diploma in Business Communication in Marketing with upper second class honors with Oral Distinction in English. Meanwhile, she successfully passed language exams in advanced business English and intermediate vocational German.

Her passion and desire to learn and play music is insatiable: she always knew she was meant to become a musician, and her modeling career and Playboy cover appearances was to serve only as springboard to her music career. Following her second Playboy cover appearance in 2008, she was personally invited by Hugh Hefner as a VIP guest to his birthday party at the Playboy Club in Las Vegas.

However she always put greater emphasis on learning about music and mixing, even tough she was taught personally by a “personal “ dj/teacher she also finished a Pro Level dj school with excellent results, which gave her the official and recognized job title: “DJ”. Her job certificate is accepted generally in the whole European Union.

For the past five years, DJ Flower has been spinning music at more than 600 parties – Hungarian audience is crazy about her DJ sets – so it is not surprising that she has been invited by Hungary’s most prestigious and high-profile clubs to be a resident performer: in 2007-2008 she was a regular act at Palace Dance Club in Siófok, followed by appearances at Bed Beach and White Angel in 2008-2009, and in the summer of 2009 at Lipstick in Balatonfüred’s Sundance Park. That summer she also performed with Chicane in front of a raving crowd of 10,000 fans at the Annagora Aquapark party organized by Rise FM. In early 2010 she was a resident performer at the official Playboy parties held by Club Montecristo in Geneve, Switzerland and in the summer of 2010 at Flört.

By this time, DJ Flower was a seasoned performer on international stages as invitations had been rolling in from internationally renowned party places amid an unparalleled streak of success in her home country. And the invitations were rarely one-time only: her performances were met with universal acclaim everywhere she went and callbacks for repeat performances were sure to follow. DJ Flower had numerous television appearances in Portugal during her tour of the country, while local press enthusiastically reported of her packed-house stage performances. On Dec 31, 2009 she rang in the New Year with a crowd including more than 5,000 cheering people in Madeira.

With her highly popular DJ sets, Virág Voksán continues to capture the hearts of thousands of fans around Europe: she is a regular act at several notable international venues, including the word famous VIP Room in Luxembourg, Club Aer in Stuttgart and Munich’s Club P1. Apart from her endless European music sessions, she performed in Cairo’s Buddha Bar in Egypt, the Plastik Beach of Abu Dhabi, and at The 400 and the Cavalli Club, Dubai’s most popular and prestigious clubs, where she became a resident dj. She has traveled as far as Azerbaijan, where local clubs in Baku are eagerly awaiting her return. It’s safe to say that Virág has taken the entire world by storm. DJ Flower also enchanted Russia, where she performed in front of raving crowds at Volgograd’s Club Amsterdam, Imperia Lounge in Moscow, as well as at the world famous PACHA.

At the end of 2010, fans thronged to her concert at Millionaire, Turin’s hippest club, while the annual LUXEXPO fair in Luxembourg selected her for the event’s official performer.

DJ Flower has performed and collaborated with countless renowned musicians, including Adam Beyer at the City Sound Fest 2010 in Lignano, Italy, as well as Sandy Rivera, Fedde Le Grand, Eddie Thoneick, Popof, Chicane, INNA, and Nadia Ali to name only a few.

In 2008, Virág was named the official face and DJ of the AXE tour that took her on an East European tour staging a series of concerts in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Bosnia, apart from shows in Hungary. During the tour she recorded a collaborative piece titled “Instinct” with Markanera, DJ Smiths and Nita. The music video of the song is available below:

Collaborative work with Spy The Ghost gave birth to “Jamaican Love” in 2010, a music video was also shot and is aired regularly not only by Hungarian music channels but major international music networks. The track was officially released internationally by Italy’s major release company: EGO Music, while in Germany by the world famous KONTOR Records. In 2011, a barnd new collaboration with Max C, the uprising vocalist of the world famous Axwell (I found you), results in “Are you ready” as the latest hit of Dj Flower to which also a music video with an interesting storyboard was produced.
